In 2000, members of the North American Blueberry Council (NABC) joined and founded the USHBC with the goal of promoting blueberry worldwide. Betting on worldwide markets, we entered in several countries and we want more people to know this small, but powerful fruit.
Our goal is to assist the industry by presenting the different formats and existing blueberry products as well as suppliers to meet your specification; present the launches that are on the rise worldwide for the retail market; besides showing the final consumer all the benefits that this super fruit brings to health.
Whether you are an industry lover, retailer or a blueberry lover, the USHBC has come to your country to let you know about everything that happens in the blue world of blueberry!
What is USHBC?
The USHBC — US Highbush Blueberry Council — is an agricultural and promotional organization comprised of producers, processors and importers of blueberries from North and South America, who work together to research, innovate and promote the fruit, as well as in the growth and well-being of the entire industry.
The blueberry industry is committed to providing blueberries that are grown, harvested, packaged and shipped in clean and safe environments.
The Association was founded and is funded by its members. In 2000, members of the North American Blueberry Council (NABC), a voluntary organization that has been promoting the blueberry highbush industry for more than 40 years, have submitted a proposal to the USDA (US Agriculture department) for the promotion, research and dissemination of information on blueberry, and thus created the USHBC.
